Installing the theme

1. Open Design in the Lifeboat admin interface
2. Click on Install Theme
3. Find the Cability Theme
4. Click install
   Once installed the theme will be listed underneath the theme preview
5. Click on Actions
6. Click on Make Default

Home Page

Banner

In Cability, you can have up to 3 collections to be featured in the banner which are shown on the home page.

1. Open Design in the Lifeboat admin interface
2. Click on Customise
3. Choose up to 3 collections in the fields labelled:
   • Home: Featured Collection 1
   • Home: Featured Collection 2
   • Home: Featured Collection 3
4. Click Save

Featured Collections

Underneath the banner, you may choose up to 4 collections to be shown on the home page.

1. Open Products > Collections
2. Click on the collection you'd like to add (open for editing)
3. In the Tags field add the tag show_in_home
   Optional: Specify an image in Featured Image to be used in the card
4. Click Save

Featured Products

Below the featured collections, you can have 4 featured products. This is done by:

1. Open Products
2. Select the product you want to feature
3. Add a tag called; featured in the product tags
4. Click Save

Parallax Collection

Underneath the Featured Products, you can choose 1 collection to be shown as a parallax banner.

1. Open Design in the Lifeboat admin interface
2. Click on Customise
3. Choose the desired collection to be shown in the Home: parallax collection
4. Click Save

Best Seller Products

Below the featured collections, you can have 4 featured products. This is done by:

1. Open Products
2. Select the product you want to feature
3. Add a tag called; best_seller in the product tags
4. Click Save

Subscribe section

In the final section before the footer on the home page, you can opt to have users subscribe to your newsletter.
You may also change the background image of the section.

1. Open Design in the Lifeboat admin interface
2. Click on Customise
3. Choose an image you'd like to use as a background in the Newsletter section image
4. Click Save

Footer

In the footer section, you can have two custom menus in between the blog posts (if you have any) and the shop details.

Middle-left menu

1. Open Design in the Lifeboat admin interface
2. Click on Customise
3. In the field labelled Footer: First Menu select a menu that will be used on the middle left-hand side of the footer.
   Note
   

   The Menu title is used as the header in the footer.
   Submenus are not supported.

4. Click Save

Middle-right menu

1. Open Design in the Lifeboat admin interface
2. Click on Customise
3. In the field labelled Footer: Second Menu select a menu that will be used on the middle right-hand side of the footer.
   Note
   

   The Menu title is used as the header in the footer.
   Submenus are not supported.

4. Click Save

Map Location

The Cability theme gives you the option to have a map with the store's location on the site, specifically in the Contact page. To do this;

1. Open Design in the Lifeboat admin interface
2. Click on Customise
3. Enter your shop's name and full address in the field labelled Map Location
   1. Get the shop's full name (1) and address (2) from Google Maps as shown below 
   2. Input them as shown below in the field Map Location
4. Click Save

And the result should be as follows.

Product Page

You may have a featured collection on the right sidebar when viewing a product.
This is typically used to promote a special offer or the latest products collection

1. Open Design in the Lifeboat admin interface
2. Click on Customise
3. In the field labelled Product page featured collection (In sidebar) select a collection that will be used as a feature in the sidebar.
4. Click Save

You may also have 4 featured products underneath the collection. These products can be set by 

1. Open Products
2. Select the product you want to feature
3. Add a tag called; featured in the product tags
4. Click Save

Collection

For each collection, you can have different customisations for different sections.

The Collection Banner image is the image shown at the top of the particular collection’s page.
If left blank, the image shown will be the default collection image.

The Banner Image is the image shown if you have selected this particular collection as one of the Banners on your home page.
If left blank, the image shown will be the default collection image.

The Banner Heading text is the heading that will be shown on the home overlaying the banner image if you have selected this particular collection as one of the Banners on your home page.
If left blank, no heading will be shown.

The Featured Image is the image shown if the collection is chosen as one Featured Collections on the home page.
If left blank, the image shown will be the default collection image.

The Parallax Image is the image shown if the collection is chosen as the Parallax Collection on the home page.
If left blank, the image shown will be the default collection image.
